A poem by Ted Hughs, recently found in the British Library archive, directly addresses Sylvia Plath, his former wife, & the first emotions upon hearing about her death. His vulnerability, broken structure, & painful images fully capture – in essence – the tangled knot of horror that I first felt when learning of her infamous suicide. Read this poem.
